2000-2012: FCM found a new home when it moved to Indiana Wesleyan University (IWU) in 2000. Attendance once again began to grow and many families attended the conventions. During these years, the many wonderful performances, the teen puppet workshop, youth talent contests, and the ‘Chalk-O-Rama’ were all eagerly anticipated and enjoyed. As always, there were numerous workshops in seven different performing areas as well as corporate worship and evening programs where Gospel was presented and the public was welcome.
The Conference would officially begin on Monday, but most attendees arrived on Sunday. This led Bev Dowling and others to organize ‘Sunday in the Park’ as an outreach to the Marion Community. It was always well attended.
Only a few pictures from the early years of IWU can be dated, but all show the wonderful speakers, entertainers & enjoyment attendees experienced.
